Comparative Analysis of Macroeconomic Variables Determining Tourism Activities in Turkey

Tourism is an activity that affected by various indicators of a country's performance and affects indicators. In this context, the aim study to determine macroeconomic variables affect tourism activities in Turkey. For purpose, period 1996:1–2016:1 examined with Structural VAR Analysis Impact-Response Functions. The used were investigated considering literature determined as number international tourists, real per capita national income, consumer price index, effective exchange rate, political stability, geopolitical risk index carbon dioxide emission. findings show tourists emissions, stability index. addition, it has been found emission but do not. short run, no statistically significant relationship could be between inflation rate tourists.
